How Much Data Do You Really Get Per Day?
Plans are advertised as total data (for example 84GB) or as daily data (for example 1.5GB per day). To compare them you need one common number. This calculator converts between total and daily data and, if you add the price, shows the cost per GB so you can find the cheapest data.
How to Use This Tool
- Enter total data in GB, or leave it empty and enter daily data.
- Enter the validity in days.
- Add the plan price if you want the cost per GB (optional).
- Click Calculate to see daily data in GB and MB, total data and cost per GB.
Formula Used
Daily Data = Total Data ÷ Validity Days
Total Data = Daily Data × Validity Days
Cost Per GB = Plan Price ÷ Total Data
Total Data = Daily Data × Validity Days
Cost Per GB = Plan Price ÷ Total Data
Example: ₹299 for 1.5GB/day over 28 days gives 42GB in total, which is ₹7.12 per GB. A ₹719 plan with 1.5GB/day over 84 days gives 126GB, or ₹5.71 per GB.
Money-Saving Tips
- Check your real usage in phone settings before choosing a plan.
- Daily data usually expires at midnight, so unused data is lost.
- If you use WiFi at home, a lower daily data plan can save money.
- Look for plans with extra bonus data only if you actually use it.
