How to Check Your State Board Result
The exact fields required differ slightly by board, but the general process is the same everywhere:
- Open your state's official board link above.
- Look for a "Result 2026" or "Class 10 / Class 12 Result" link on the homepage.
- Enter your Roll Number (and sometimes date of birth, school code, or application number, depending on the board).
- Submit the form to view your result on screen.
- Download or screenshot the result for your records - the board's original marksheet is usually issued separately through your school a few days later.
Don't See Your State Listed?
This page covers the boards with the largest number of students, but India has dozens of state and union territory boards. If your state isn't listed above, search "[your state] board official result website" and look specifically for a government (.gov.in, .nic.in) domain or the board's own official site - avoid third-party "result portal" sites that aren't the board itself, since they're not authoritative and sometimes carry outdated or incorrect information.
If the Official Site Won't Load
On result day, official servers receive an extremely high volume of traffic in a short window, so slow loading or timeouts are common. A few things that help:
- Check if your board also publishes results via DigiLocker, which is usually less congested.
- Try again a little later in the day, once the initial traffic spike has passed.
- Avoid refreshing repeatedly, which adds more load - wait a few minutes between attempts.
