How to Check Your Banking Exam Result
- Open the official website for your specific exam body (IBPS, SBI, or RBI) from the links above.
- Find the result or scorecard link for your specific exam and stage (Prelims, Mains, or Interview/Provisional Allotment).
- Log in using your Registration Number or Roll Number, along with your Password or Date of Birth, exactly as used during your application.
- View or download your scorecard, which typically shows section-wise marks, total score, and the qualifying cut-off.
- For IBPS exams specifically, results are declared separately for Prelims, Mains, and Provisional Allotment - check each stage individually.
IBPS Results Are Declared in Stages
IBPS conducts most of its exams (PO, Clerk, SO, RRB) as a Common Recruitment Process (CRP) with multiple stages - typically a Preliminary exam, a Mains exam, and for officer-level posts, an Interview. Each stage has its own separate result and scorecard, released on its own date. Clearing an earlier stage is required to appear for the next one, so make sure you're checking the result for the correct stage of your specific exam.
SBI Results and the "Recruitment Results" Page
SBI publishes results for its various recruitment drives (PO, Clerk, Specialist Cadre Officers, and others) as individual notices on its careers site's "Recruitment Results" page, often as a list of shortlisted or selected candidates rather than a searchable lookup. Use your browser's Find function (Ctrl+F or Cmd+F) to search for your roll number within a long PDF list.
RBI Recruitment (Grade B, Assistant, and Others)
RBI conducts its own recruitment for roles like Grade B Officer and Assistant, published exclusively through its dedicated opportunities.rbi.org.in portal. RBI has explicitly stated that all recruitment details - call letters, interview schedules, and final results - are published only on this official portal, so be cautious of any other site claiming to host RBI recruitment results directly.
If the Official Site Won't Load
On result day, official servers receive an extremely high volume of traffic in a short window, so slow loading or timeouts are common. A few things that help:
- Try again a little later, once the initial traffic spike has passed.
- Keep your registration number, roll number, and password/date of birth ready beforehand to avoid repeated failed login attempts.
- Download the result PDF rather than repeatedly refreshing the page.
