About this statement of marks generator

A statement of marks (mark list) records the marks of every student in one subject for a test or examination, with the pass or fail result. Teachers fill it in for a class and submit it to the office. This tool builds the statement for you: list the roll numbers, enter the marks, and the results and summary are filled in. You can also print it blank and fill the marks by hand.

Frequently asked questions

How many students fit on one page?

By default 24 per A4 page, as two blocks of 12 side by side. You can switch to 20, 30 or 40 per page. More students continue on the next pages automatically.

How do I enter roll numbers that skip some numbers?

Write ranges and single numbers separated by commas, for example 1201-1211, 1213, 1214.

Is pass or fail worked out automatically?

Yes. A student passes when the marks reach the pass percentage of the total marks (35% by default, adjustable). Type AB for an absent student.

Can I print a blank statement?

Yes. Enter only the roll numbers and leave the marks empty. The statement prints with empty marks and result columns.

Is student data uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything is created in your browser. Saved statements stay in your device storage, and the erase button removes them.
