About this Transfer Certificate maker
A Transfer Certificate (TC), also called a School Leaving Certificate, records a student's details and school history when they leave a school. The next school asks for it at admission. This tool builds it from your school's own records: the UDISE number identifies the school, and the Admission/Withdrawal (General) Register number ties the certificate to the student's register entry.
Frequently asked questions
Does it fetch school details from the UDISE number?
There is no public UDISE lookup that a website can call, so the school name and address are typed once. They are then remembered on your device against that UDISE number and filled in automatically next time.
Is student data uploaded anywhere?
No. The certificate is built entirely in your browser. Saved details stay in your device's storage, and the erase button removes them.
Can I get the certificate in Marathi?
Yes. Pick Marathi under certificate language and the whole certificate, including the date of birth in words, switches to Marathi.
Is the Aadhaar number checked?
The tool checks that it has 12 digits and shows a warning if it fails the standard Aadhaar checksum, which catches most typing mistakes. It cannot confirm that the number belongs to the student.
Is the certificate valid without a signature?
No. Print it, then have it signed by the Headmaster or Principal and stamped with the school seal.
